At Granger Reis, we know that we need to keep up to date with all that’s happening in our industries, which means attending a range of industry events, as well as organising our own events, and travelling to the countries and regions in which we operate. Quarter one of 2015, certainly saw us doing all of these!
We kick started the year with two individuals from our Energy & Industrial (E&I) Practice making a trip to the USA, with both Brad George (Director, E&I) and Andrew Kingston (Consultant, E&I) having had a very busy and successful visit. Not only did they meet a wide range of clients, they equally attended the World of Concrete event, the industry's only annual international exhibition dedicated to the commercial concrete and masonry construction industries.
Meanwhile, our Property & Construction practice were organising and hosting a dinner event. Hosted by Richard Milsom (MD) and Edward McQuilton (Director, Property & Construction), the dinner held in March at One Lombard Street, proved to be fantastic event, attracting some the industries’ leading figures, the evening was full of interesting conversation, new introductions, delicious food and great company.
In the world of Transport & Infrastructure, Granger Reis attended the London Infrastructure Summit, benefiting from hearing some insightful and useful discussions, and enjoying meeting a number of new and existing contacts. The Transport & Infrastructure practice are especially excited about one particular event, although it has not yet taken place, it has been confirmed that they were successful in reserving a table at the Railway Ball in November! They are eagerly planning for what promises to be an exceptional evening.
The diary for quarter two events is already filling up, including attendance and speaking at the British GRI conference, several dinners, plus two Construction 2025 events… it is set to be a busy one.
