We are extremely pleased and excited to announce that Granger Reis will be contributing to the CIOB programme, Building Tomorrow. The programme celebrates best practice and innovation across the construction industry, will be launched at the CIOB Inspiring Construction conference on the 24th November.

In line with our area of expertise, we will be considering the construction industry from a people and skill set perspective, namely addressing 3 key points:
1)    What is the current situation in regards to skill set across the industry in comparison to industry growth?
2)    What is being done across the industry to address the skills shortage?
3)    From a people perspective, how might the future of the industry look?

In order to fully address the above points we were keen to involve a number of different people to represent a range of perspectives across the industry. We were delighted when David Hurcomb (Chief Executive, NG Bailey), Louise Hardy (Technical Director, Skanska) Mark Castle (Deputy COO, Mace), and Nicola Scammell (Project Manager, Mace) all agreed to take part and share their views. They will be co- starring alongside Granger Reis’ very own Edward McQuilton and Ben Hewlett!

On a somewhat rainy day in London, the filming plan finally became a reality. Despite the weather, the day went extremely well, filming in 3 outdoor locations across London. We are awaiting our final version of the film with excitement, and we are very much looking forward to the launch on the 24th November.
