Watch the CIOB's programme 'Building Tomorrow', featuring Granger Reis

CIOB programme ‘Building Tomorrow’ features Granger Reis’ Edward McQuilton and Ben Hewlett, who address the skill challenges that are facing the construction industry.

Earlier this year, Granger Reis took part in a programme commissioned by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) in partnership with ITN Productions, entitled ‘Building Tomorrow.’

The programme features key industry reviews and news-style reports along with sponsored editorial profiles, addressing three key concerns within the construction industry:

  • What is the current situation in regards to skill set across the industry in comparison to industry growth?
  • What is being done across the industry to address the skills shortage?
  • From a people perspective, how might the future of the industry look?

Following an introduction by National newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky, key leaders in the construction industry fully address the above points including David Hurcomb (Chief Executive, NG Bailey), Louise Hardy (Technical Director, Skanska), Mark Castle (Deputy COO, Mace) and Nicola Scammell (Project Manager, Mace).

Granger Reis’ Managing Director, Richard Milsom comments, “We are delighted to be part of the programme, working with the CIOB and ITN Productions to celebrate the successes and innovations of the industry, whilst promoting and actively raising the profile of the construction industry across the UK.”
