Richard Milsom - Managing Director and Founder
Richard has over 20 years experience within the Built Environment, Transportation and Power and Energy sectors.
He specialises in executive search and also works with clients to develop resourcing strategies. Richard's focus is on placing senior level personnel for major blue chip and privately owned contracting and property organisations.
He has carried out assignments across the globe and has recent experience working in Europe, Asia and North America.
Richard started his career in 1989 with Kier Group Plc, he studied Construction at Brunel College, and has recently attended Harvard Business School. He established Granger Reis in 2008. Previously, he was joint Managing Director of a UK based recruitment consultancy that he established in 2000. His recruitment career began in 1994 with an NYSE listed construction and property recruitment organisation.
Edward McQuilton - Director and Head of UK Selection
Edward has over 8 years experience working within the Built Environment and Power and Energy sectors, managing and developing large teams of consultants and associates. He heads our UK selection division and is an equity director at Granger Reis. He specialises in operational and executive board level positions based in the UK.
Previously Edward was Associate Director with a leading Construction and Property recruitment consultancy. He has a degree in Applied Psychology & Computing from Bournemouth University and has also taken a number of courses at the Institute of Directors and studied with Bath Centre for Counselling.
Matthew Carter - Partner and Head of International
With over 18 years experience within the international search and selection arena, Matthew heads up the International division working across all key sectors.
His most recent assignments have taken him to Europe, Asia and Africa. His team support our clients through the entire project life cycle from funding through to contracting and services offering.
Before joining Granger Reis Matthew spent seven years as the Managing Director of a specialist boutique consultancy in the UAE. His recruitment career began in 1993 working for a NYSE listed construction and property recruitment organisation.
Ben Hewlett - Partner and Head of Consultancy
Ben is Head of Granger Reis Consultancy and has over 11 years senior resourcing experience. He provides our clients with search and selection services specialising in senior roles within the transportation sector.
Prior to joining Granger Reis Ben was Head of Resourcing for the Consulting division of Balfour Beatty. He began his career in recruitment for a UK based construction and property consultancy and has a degree in politics from Liverpool John Moores University.
Joshua Irving - Head of Research
Joshua has over 7 years experience working within the Built Environment, Transportation and Power and Energy sectors. He heads up our in house team of researchers and delivers board level assignments on behalf of our partners and consultants.
He has a far reaching network and extensive knowledge of all key sectors carrying out assignments both in the UK and overseas. He began his career working in a boutique headhunting practice. He has a degree in history from Exeter.
Alastair Cartwright - Head of Online
Alastair has spent over 13 years delivering resourcing strategies to blue chip organisations. He is currently Head of Online which sits within Granger Reis Consultancy. His team specialise in developing online resourcing strategies for our clients, enabling them to develop more efficient and cost effective resourcing processes.
Prior to joining Granger Reis Alastair was Director of an online advertising consultancy. He began his career in online recruitment for the Guardian newspapers media group. He has a degree in management from Portsmouth.
Lucy Kendall - Head of Business Improvement
Lucy is an experienced recruiter having spent 11 years working within the Built Environment, Transportation and Power sectors. She joined Granger Reis as Head of Business Improvement in 2011. Her role is to work closely with clients and candidates to ensure that we continue to deliver an exemplary service and to identify areas for improvement and development.
Before joining Granger Reis she worked for Buro Happold as head of global resourcing, prior to this she worked for a leading construction and property recruitment organisation as a senior manager. She has a degree in management from UMIST.
Anirban Basu - Knowledge Manager
Anirban joined Granger Reis in 2011 as Knowledge Manager. His focus is internal improvements and sharing of knowledge throughout the business.
Anirban's career started in India where he worked for a financial services firm before joining Egon Zehnder International. He has also spent time in the UAE acting as a researcher in a boutique practice. He has a degree in Electronics Engineering from Nagpur University and has recently completed an MBA at University of Bath.
